The Erie Irish girls basketball program is now officially a member of the Nike Team - USJN - Blue Star Travel Basketball Family. The contract has been signed and we are now able to make this public! This is a great day for the Erie Irish. we have always been in the upper echelon of travel basketball programs in the northeast US, but this membership and partnership now solidifies our standing nationally.

Erie Irish 17U head coach's teams have had 23/24 seniors over the last 5 years placed into college basketball program, leading to the Nike Team - USJN - Blue Star invite. Yes 23/24 seniors to college basketball. 

 

There are currently 55 members (32 states plus Canada are represented) in the prestigious National USJN Blue Star Travel League. The Erie Irish is 1 of only 2 programs in all of Pennsylvania fortunate enough to have earned this membership. There are no other Western PA programs permitted to join the league.

There are bonuses with the membership of the Nike Team - USJN - Blue Star Travel Family. Being a part of the most recognized and respected national basketball brand gives our players even more access to key people/influencers in national travel basketball recruiting. 

​

The Blue Star Scouting Service is the largest in the country (nearly 300 colleges subscribe annually), and our players will be in front of them at all USJN events...on the main courts. This is important.

​

Over 3,000 college coaches attend the USJN Event Series annually, the largest in the country.

​
